How this works
Each partner puts in their own money
Clenny and Clanny each put in a share of the product cost. Set both amounts under Shipment Setup.
The green check appears when both shares together cover the product cost.
Product investment sets the profit split
Clenny contributes a smaller amount and Clanny contributes the larger amount. Clanny uses the combined product money to purchase and send the shipment.
Operating costs never buy a larger share of the profit.
Only approved business costs count
Set “Included in Settlement” to Yes for real business costs, No for anything personal or not-yet-paid.
Every approved operation reduces shipment profit.
Record where operation money came from
Personal money is reimbursed to the partner who paid it. Shared business funds include sales and rolled-forward reinvestment money, so they are never reimbursed again.
Funding source changes reimbursement and cash, not the profit percentage. The rule is identical for both partners.
Personal withdrawals come out of your reinvestment ownership
Taking cash from the pot for personal use? Log it in Ops as a Personal Withdrawal. That partner's physical cash position and rolled-forward reinvestment ownership both drop by the same amount.
A withdrawal is capital taken early for personal use—it never counts as a contribution and never raises your share.
Product taken personally is a sale
If either partner takes cans for themselves, record it under Sales — not Ops.
Keeps product taken out of operating costs where it doesn’t belong.
Cash collection is tracked separately from ownership
Every sale records who physically collected the cash. Clenny Cash on Hand shows what is physically with Clenny before transfer; Net Company Reinvestment subtracts shared costs already spent by either partner.
The gross transfer can be larger than net company capital when Clanny has already spent shared funds. Physical custody never changes either partner's ownership.
Target price is a planning number
Set the target sale price per can under Shipment Setup. It drives projected revenue and projected profit.
Update it any time the actual selling price changes.
